To determine if 3A Hurricane would go undefeated against the 4A teams in Region 9, the Tigers played a tough Pine View. Hurricane was able to beat the Panthers in a close 48-46 victory. The Tigers couldn’t seem to find any rythym from the foul line in the fourth quarter, making just 5-13 with all eight of those misses within the last minute of play.
Adam Bangerter led the Panthers with 15 points. For Hurricane it was two Seniors, Gordie Dotson with 15 followed by Ryan Smith with 9. The Tigers drained six 3-point field goals to help them hold off the Panthers
