Tigers Lose Both on Road Trip

Salem Hills 47, Hurricane 46

The Tigers played a two game road trip on Thursday and Friday. On Thursday they were at Salem Hills. The Tigers struggled most of the game committing 19 fouls and turning the ball over 15 times. Hurricane was able to make 7 three-pointers and hit 8-10 form the foul line. Gordie Dotson led the Tigers with 12 points while Zach Sorenson added 11. For Salem Hills it was the sophmore London Simmonsen who led the team with 11 points as the Sky Hawks slipped by the Tigers 47-46.

Lehi 71, Hurricane 52

On Friday night the Tigers were at Lehi where they played a tough 5A team. The Tigers got to the foul line more in this game where they were 15-22. They also hit 5 three-pointers. Zach Sorenson led Hurricane in scoring with 14 points followed by Gordie Dotson with 7 points. Lehi was excellent on free throws with 20-23. Will Walker led Lehi with 22 points as Lehi came away with  the big win 71-52.Will Walker helped lift Lehi over the Tigers, with his 22 point outing.
